Detailed itinerary of the 5 Days City tour & Chimpanzee trekking safari

Day 1 of the 5 Days City tour & Chimpanzee trekking safari: Arrival
The driver-guide receives you from Entebbe Airport and drives to a restaurant in Kampala, take a few minutes to unwind and refresh. The drive to Fort Portal town for the next 4 hours begins. You reach Fort portal in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel and take a fiesta.

Day 2 of the 5 Days City tour & Chimpanzee trekking safari: Fort Portal town
Serve breakfast and join your exposure city tour around Fort Portal town. Visit the royal palace on Kabarole Hill, other sights include; Amabere site, Tooro Botanical gardens, souvenir shops among others. Enjoy energetic cultural performances in the evening.

Day 3 of the 5 Days City tour & Chimpanzee trekking safari: Transfer to Kibale National park
Serve breakfast and continue with the drive to Kibale National Park. You reach in the next 45 minutes, check in the lodge and visit Bigodi swamp for birding. In the evening walk around the host community to meet and greet, support a local initiative by dropping a fund, buy crafts to encourage the local tourism-related business and then return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 4 of the 5 Days City tour & Chimpanzee trekking safari: Chimp Trekking
After early morning breakfast, drive to park headquarters for briefing, today we spend the entire day in chimp trekking. The activity may take about 4-8 hours but the reward comes with the magical hour you spend with our hilarious cousins, take caution from the briefing session seriously. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 5 of the 5 Days City tour & Chimpanzee trekking safari: Departure
Today we drive back to Entebbe for your home flight, en-route sites include Entanda cultural site in Mityana. If time allows, we may also visit an art gallery in Kampala for shopping (optional activity) and head on straight to Entebbe airport for your home flight.
