The mountain gorilla trekking takes place in Volcanoes National Park. The safari gives the opportunity to track the mountain gorillas and the golden monkeys in the same park. Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Rwanda Primate Safari

Day 1 of the 4 Days Rwanda Primate Safari: Transfer from Airport – Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali Airport, you are picked up by our driver guide who drives you to Kigali, which is Rwanda`s alluring capital. After serving lunch in Kigali you head for the city tour; Kigali city has well established markets, amazing history with so much to do with the 1994 genocide which leads to the genocide memorial site next, visit in art galleries to buy very appealing art pieces of all time. Later you embark on the journey to the notable Volcanoes National Park, located approximately 80 km from Kigali. Reach and check in at the lodge of your choice, Serve dinner and spend the night.

Day 2 of the 4 Days Rwanda Primate Safari: Gorilla Tracking -Volcanoes National Park
Serve a heavy breakfast early in the morning; then jump onto pickup by our guide who takes you to the park headquarters. Here you are briefed about the rules and regulations regarding gorilla trekking. The activity is so thrilling and upon meeting these gentle giants, enjoy that hour watching them feed and play, walk away with lasting memories. You can as well watch other animals like elephants, buffaloes, monkeys and several other bird species. After trekking, return for a late lunch at the lodge. Spend the evening in a community walk or relax and enjoy good atmosphere at the lodge.

Day 3 of the 4 Days Rwanda Primate Safari: Golden Monkey Tracking or Optional Dian Fossey Tomb Visit.
Serve an early morning breakfast and then be guided by the ranger to track the golden monkeys so interesting to watch; feed and climbing trees around.  Visit the Dian Fossey tomb and discover lots of information about her, a primatologist who cared for mountain gorillas for a long period of life (please note that; optional activities are not priced in this tour program). Return for lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon, visiting the local school to interact with the locals and discover interesting aspects about their culture.

Day 4 of the 4 Days Rwanda Primate Safari: Kigali City Tour – Departure
Savor a finger lick breakfast early morning, check out of the park and transfer to Kigali.  Meanwhile go for another city tour and visit a few interesting places such as; markets, pottery projects, the national museum and hand craft projects etc.  Serve a tasty lunch (in Kigali) and return to the airport for your home flight.
