The 2 days wildlife & bird watching safaris goes all the way to Lake Mburo National Park. It unveils the world of zebras, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes and very colorful birds such as, Abyssinian ground hornbills, African wattled lapwings, Saddle-billed storks and Black-bellied bustards, for you to glance at and take excellent photos of. Lake Mburo is one of the few destinations for Shoebill trekking in Uganda.

Detailed itinerary of 10 the 2 Days Wildlife & Birding watching Tour

Day 1 of the 2 Days Wildlife & Birding watching Tour: Transfer to Lake Mburo
After some tasty breakfast-early morning, set off from the hotel in Kampala and head on for Western Uganda, en-route; you are to come across a local community famous for making local drums and crafts and a fruit market. You can stopover to embrace the artisan works and buy a few souvenirs. Continue to the Equator crossing and take excellent photographs. Serve lunch at Igongo cultural Centre. Here you go around Igongo museum on an educative tour – learning about the history and culture of the South – Western tribes of Uganda. Relax, take photographs or listen to music. In the evening, depart from Igongo and transfer to the Lake Mburo Park headquarters
Have dinner and overnight at Lake Mburo NP

Day 2 of the 2 Days Wildlife & Birding watching Tour: Departure
Have an early morning breakfast, join in on the morning game drive. During the game drive you find all animal species busy still feeding and hunting before going to sleep. Track for zebras, Topi, water hogs, waterbucks. Return to the lodge for lunch. From lunch, join a boat cruise on the lake and enjoy the greater opportunity of viewing bird species that you might have missed on the game drive. During the late afternoon, leave the park and proceed to Kampala, arriving- in the evening.
