Day 1 of the 4 Days Uganda Gorilla & Batwa Experience Safari Holiday: Drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest

Early morning, your safari begins with a drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest park via Kabale – Kisoro in the south-western part of Uganda and close to the borders with Rwanda and Congo. You get to cross the most beautiful part of the country with terraced hills, also known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’. You will see a great country-side, bamboo forest and have great views over the Virunga Mountains. For lunch you will stop at a Restaurant Hotel en-route to Bwindi.

Day 2 of the 4 Days Uganda Gorilla & Batwa Experience Safari Holiday: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest

Early morning, you will prepare yourself ready to encounter one of Bwindi’s gentle giants in the forest. Be briefed by UWA staff about the trekking and a few rules. Remember to pack your raincoat, boots, and some drinking water. It’s also advised that you be medically fit before you embark on this tedious yet exciting exercise. About 5 Primate Species, 113 species of mammals, 200 butterflies & 300 birds can be found in the impenetrable forest. There are nine habituated Gorilla groups/ families and each group will be tracked by not more than a group of 8 tourists. This exhilarating journey along the forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes & bamboo is indeed overwhelming and remember to carry a camera with good or extra battery. Your guide will be pointing out previous gorilla activity including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. It takes about 2 – 7hours to track the mountain gorillas depending on how far they have gone. Day 3 of the 4 Days Uganda Gorilla & Batwa Experience Safari Holiday: Batwa Trail

Today after breakfast you will spend most of your day on the Batwa trail. This well designated trail includes a hike through the forest listening to local folk lore, songs, cultural dances and lots more. Dinner and overnight at chosen lodge

Day 4 of the 4 Days Uganda Gorilla & Batwa Experience Safari Holiday: Transfer to Kampala

Early morning, after breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe (Airport). Of course, you stop en-route for lunch and also stop at the equator, the best place for your souvenir shopping. Later; transfer back to Entebbe Airport for your flight.
